About the event

The Nordic Fund Selection Forum is one of the longest running events dedicated to fund selectors and institutional investors in the Nordic region. The event offers ample opportunities for delegates to meet and exchange ideas with selector peers. The event is also an effective platform to gain insight from leading fund managers across a range of asset classes. The event is strictly for invited fund selectors and institutional investors.

Niklas Tell
Chief Content Officer at Tell Media Group

Niklas Tell is a founding partner and chief content officer at Tell Media Group, a Swedish based research and publishing company focused on the asset management industry. He is the driving force behind the company’s research, editorial and advisory efforts. Niklas Tell has covered and commented on the Nordic and inter national fund industry since 1998. Prior to establishing Tell Media Group and launching the first local b2b magazine for the Nordic asset management industry in 2006, he helped establish Morningstar in Europe and was its first european director of fund analysis. Niklas Tell has a degree in economics and business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and is a member of the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and he is often invited to address senior management teams on different topics and trends affecting the asset management industry.

Jenny Carenco
Secretary of the Board at The Swedish National Advisory Board for Impact Investing and General Partner at Utfallsfonden

Jenny Carenco has a background in strategy consulting where she worked in Bain & Company’s private equity practice. Since 2016 she runs Prosper, an impact investing advisory firm, where she f.ex. has helped the Region of Stockholm issue the world's first Health Impact Bond. She is also a General Partner in Utfallsfonden - a 35 M € fund backed by the EIF, investing in payment-by-results mechanisms, and she is the Secretary General of The Swedish National Advisory Board for Impact Investing. Jenny holds a MSc in Business Administration from Lund University and an MBA from french Business School HEC.

Ronny Gwerder
CFA, Portfolio Advisor at Wellington Management

As a portfolio advisor with Wellington Management, Ronny works closely with portfolio managers as well as the firm’s macroanalysts to articulate our investment views to clients and prospects. Within the portfolio advisor group, he covers a variety of strategies and asset classes, spanning equities and alternative investments. He represents the firm’s global investment capabilities and advises clients, prospects, and consultants on global investing concepts.

Pascal Dudle
Head of Listed Impact Equities at Vontobel Asset Management

Pascal Dudle joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2007 and oversees the socially- and environmentally-oriented impact strategies. As Head of Listed Impact, he is portfolio manager of the Clean Technology portfolios which he defined and set up as well.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked for 10 years at Swiss Re. In his most recent function, from 2001 to 2007, he was portfolio manager investing in both public and private markets and focusing on environmental areas such as alternative energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable forestry.

Pascal holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He is a CEFA charterholder.

Ryan Myerberg
Portfolio Manager, Global Sustainable Total Return Bond Strategy at Brown Advisory

Ryan Myerberg is a partner, portfolio manager of the Global Sustainable Total Return Bond Strategy and co-head of the global taxable fixed income team. Prior to joining Brown Advisory in March 2021, Ryan was the Head and CIO of Absolute Return Fixed Income at Amundi Asset Management, leading a team of investors across four global investment hubs. He spent the previous 9 years at Janus Henderson Investors where he was responsible for launching Janus’ global fixed income platform in London in 2010, and serving as a portfolio manager across a number of global macro and global credit strategies. Prior to his move to London in 2008 with BlueMountain Capital Management, Ryan spent 6 years in New York, working at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Ryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia in 2002.

Christiaan Lever
Portfolio Manager at Robeco

Christiaan Lever is Portfolio Manager High Yield and Emerging Credits in the Credit team. Before assuming this role in 2016, he was Financial Risk Manager at Robeco, focusing on market risk, counterparty risk and liquidity risk within fixed Income markets. Christiaan has been active in the industry since 2010. He holds a Master's in Quantitative Finance and in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

James Macdonald
Partner, Bluebay Senior Portfolio Manager – Financials, Investment Grade & Leveraged Finance at RBC Bluebay Asset Management

James joined BlueBay in September 2007 as a financials analyst within the Investment Grade team. His experience and knowledge of the European banking sector has been widely utilised within the firm by both the Investment Grade and High Yield teams at BlueBay. He was instrumental in the successful launch of the BlueBay Financial Capital Bond Fund in January 2015 and has made a significant contribution to its peer group-leading performance since inception. Prior to BlueBay, James spent three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an assurance and advisory executive covering financial institutions. He is a qualified chartered accountant and holds an MA (Hons) degree from the University of Edinburgh. James is a CFA charterholder.

Joe Wiggins
Chief Investment Officer at Fundhouse

Currently Chief Investment Officer at Fundhouse, a UK based investment consultant, Joe has worked at some of the largest asset and wealth managers in Europe. Most notably, spending 7 years with ABRDN, where he was a fund manager with responsibility for Strategic Asset Allocation for MyFolio, one of the most successful multi-asset fund ranges in the UK. Joe, who holds a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics, is widely known across the industry as a behavioural finance expert and runs the popular blog: behaviouralinvestment.com. His first book ‘The Intelligent Fund Investor’ was published in November 2022 and focuses on the erroneous beliefs and behavioural biases that can lead investors astray and shows how we can make better decisions.
